“The business always comes before the tool.”
My role
I’m a specialist in business development, commercial strategy and growth at Elevam. My work combines market analysis, commercial vision and business development with one aim: to spot opportunities, understand what each company needs and turn it into decisions that drive growth.
My training in Management and Business Administration at the Institut Químic de Sarrià gave me a cross-disciplinary foundation for understanding the different areas of a business. Over my career I have worked with very diverse clients and markets, especially in Africa, the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, and developed an international outlook that pays close attention to the specifics of each market.
At Elevam I bring this mix of analytical ability and commercial vision to projects where the business has to be understood, opportunities spotted and a direction defined. I’m particularly interested in connecting analysis with commercial reality and making sure strategic decisions turn into results.
How I think
The business always comes before the tool.
Before proposing any action I try to understand what the company wants to achieve, what is happening in the market and what is holding back its growth. Data is an important part of the process, but it only has value when it helps us understand the business better and make decisions.
I work with three clear ideas:
Market before hypotheses: I try to understand what is really happening with customers, competitors and the environment before deciding.
Analysis to decide: I don’t analyse to pile up information. I look for the patterns and opportunities that let us prioritise and act.
Commercial vision: a strategy only makes sense if it ends up connecting with the customer and with business results, so I always try to stay close to commercial reality.
I like working with a broad view of the business without losing focus on what can have a real impact.
Who it makes sense to work with
I fit well in projects that:
- need to understand their market and spot new growth opportunities;
- want to connect analysis with concrete commercial decisions;
- have an international outlook or want to open up to new markets.
I contribute most when priorities need ordering and a direction needs defining, without losing sight of the commercial result.
If your company needs to turn market analysis into growth, let’s talk.
