Illy is an international premium coffee brand that manages its digital presence with different teams and agencies spread across several countries. When we came in, in September 2025, the challenge was clear: for Spain they needed a local partner to handle the day-to-day of the website and SEO, but integrated within their international structure, not «on their own».
Our role since then has been twofold. On one hand, we handle continuous maintenance of the Spanish version of the site: reviewing and updating local content and sections, detecting issues and coordinating technical adjustments with international teams whenever changes affect Spain.
On the other hand, we work the SEO side specifically for the Spanish market: on-page optimisation, architecture, metadata, internal linking and content, always focused on how users search here and which categories make more sense to push. All this work is done in coordination with the agencies and global teams Illy was already working with.
Today Illy counts on Elevam as their reference team for web and SEO in Spain. We handle the day-to-day organic visibility in this market, translate global decisions into concrete actions on the local version, and provide data and Spanish market context to the rest of the teams we work with.
