My role
I’m a marketing intern at Elevam. I’m studying the higher vocational diploma in Marketing and Advertising and doing my work placement here, learning how an agency works from the inside and helping the team with real digital marketing tasks.
My day-to-day is supporting the different profiles on the team, helping prepare content and materials, and following closely how client campaigns are planned and run.
I put what I learn in class to the test on real projects, and what I see on real projects helps me understand better what I learn in class.
How I think
Asking is the fastest way to learn.
I’m at the start of my career and I know it. I’d rather be honest about that and make up for it with eagerness to learn, method and attention to detail.
I work with three clear ideas:
Learning by doing: theory is only truly understood when it is applied to a real case.
Asking without fear: if something isn’t clear, I ask: it’s better to sort it out at the start than fix it at the end.
Caring about detail: well-checked work saves the whole team time.
I want to treat every task as a chance to learn from people who have been doing this for longer.
Who it makes sense to work with
I fit well with anyone who:
- values the energy and curiosity of someone still training;
- needs support with marketing tasks within an experienced team;
- understands that training young talent is part of the job too.
I’m not here to sell experience I don’t have yet. I’m here to bring eagerness, dedication and attention to detail, and to keep growing alongside the team.
